European Bus Data provides comprehensive information on the registration numbers for buses and coaches in Europe. It covers the EU27 countries plus the UK, Switzerland, Norway and Iceland. It includes registrations of new buses and coaches over eight tonnes gross vehicle weight, both city buses and coaches. Special analyses deal with minibuses and midibuses between three and a half and eight tonnes gross vehicle weight as well as alternative drivelines for city buses.
The annual report is published at the beginning of each year and provides a comprehensive analysis of the past year, including a comparison with the previous year and time series over ten years. In addition, quarterly reports are published which (where data is available) show the development of the previous quarter, including a comparison with the previous year. The special report on alternative drivelines for city buses is also published quarterly.
In addition to the presentation in the individual countries, a distinction is also made between bus categories and drive types as well as by manufacturer. Accordingly, market developments in the individual countries, in the various vehicle segments and in the manufacturers' market shares can be tracked in detail. The data is presented in extensive tables and graphs.
European Bus Data is the only comprehensive statistics for the entire European bus market. The detailed preparation of the reports makes them an indispensable source for bus manufacturers and suppliers to understand and assess market developments and market shares.
